Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Lab Operations Manager 2 to oversee integration and checkout efforts for multiple test lines within the Integrated Test Facility. This position will ensure technical scope is achieved while also ensuring the labs are operating successfully. Typical lab operations include safety, security, property management, calibration of equipment, and both hardware/software traceability. This position will be located in Roy, Utah.

What you will get to do:

Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive component checkouts and acceptance test plans.

Coordinating integrated testing activities working in a dynamic people-focused environment

Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations during integration.

Direct oversight of integration of test teams

Collaborate with stakeholders during integration to ensure hardware is operating appropriately.

Responsible for product integration, regression, and verification/validation testing

Ensure lab is compliant to AS9100 standards including the implementation of security processes, safety, FOE/FOD, ESD, Calibration, Data Retention by following the Lab Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Interface with US Government customers

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
