This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program as well as other programs.
What You'll Get To Do:
This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with preferred knowledge in large construction projects and data management. The candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with varying levels of Northrop Grumman, Customer, and Supplier representatives.
The selected candidate will support senior geotechnical engineers to perform technical planning, geotechnical analysis, data management, execution and oversight of large geotechnical contracts.
The selected candidate will demonstrate skills, organization, and problem-solving aptitude to develop and execute unique solutions to technical challenges.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Geotechnical Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree. 6 years of professional experience in construction, geotech and/or geology fields may be considered in lieu of degree.
Principal Geotechnical Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with a Master's degree. 9 years of professional experience in construction, geotech and/or geology fields may be considered in lieu of degree
.
Required for Both Levels:
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

2+ years of experience with Geotechnical Engineering/ Geology Industry
Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience leading projects/assignments
Experience with Bluebeam and/or Rockscience software platforms
Experience with SharePoint file management
Fluency with Construction and/or Geotechnical industry regulatory requirements (state/federal)
Prior exposure to MILCON/USACE projects
Experience with Subcontractor Statements of Work, submittals and budgets
Plan, specification, and technical report reviews/approvals
* Active DOD Secret Clearance or higher with completed investigation within the last 6 years
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
