GCCS-J is the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Command and Control (C2) system of record. GCCS-J supports commanders and warfighters as they conduct joint and multinational operations by providing a fused picture of the battlespace within an integrated system that is supporting Joint Warfighter needs today. GCCS-J is focused on meeting emerging operational needs through sustainment and modernization.
Along with sustainment and modernization, GCCS-J will focus on modifying and enhancing elements and capabilities to implement new requirements, enhance functionality, increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:

Designing and managing data ingestion processes for efficient dataset handling.

Developing data synchronization solutions to ensure system-wide consistency.

Analyzing data to generate strategic insights.

Writing requirements with defined acceptance criteria.

Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Applying data models to guide system design and architecture.

Assessing and enhancing data quality.

Monitoring processes and driving improvements.

Supporting the full lifecycle of software development.

Building customer relationships to uncover new opportunities.

Organizing programs to effectively meet customer requirements.

Delivering presentations to customers, executives, and stakeholders.

Coordinating with global development teams to ensure standards compliance.

Leading technical investigations and recommending solutions.

Implementing Agile processes throughout development.

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience or a Masters degree with 6 years experience

Data analytics and management tools.

Familiarity with data ingestion techniques and synchronization methodologies.

Strong understanding of both logical and physical data models.

Experience in writing technical documentation, including requirements and acceptance criteria.

Experience in requirements solicitation and development.

Proficiency in SQL and data query languages.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated success in leading tasks on schedule and achieving all requirements in project roles.

Experience with Global Command & Control System - Joint (GCCS-J)

Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud data platforms and big data technologies.

Strong experience in MBSE and modeling tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Familiarity with data visualization tools and practices.

Understanding of DoDAF models.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Understanding of system lifecycle, analysis, development, and management.

Experience with virtual machine environments and tools.

Attention to detail coupled with the ability to learn new procedures with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures, including military facilities and protocols

* Experience working on Command and Control (C2) or other mission-critical defense software programs.

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,330.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
