As a Security Coordinator - Level 3 your role at Colorado Springs, CO will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirements
Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards
Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control
Maintain lock and key records
Process incoming and outgoing visit authorization requests

Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances
Maintain controlled security documents and information
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program
Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
Perform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities
Provide security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned
Provide caveat briefings and debriefings for employees
Support a fast-paced high-profile environment
Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
Process requests for employees and guests to gain access to secure areas
Maintain database for controlled security documents and information.
Safeguard classified materials
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), access control systems and security management systems Lenel Onguard and SIMS
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule
Completed security training (ex. CDSE)

Primary Level Salary Range: $46,700.00 - $77,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
