This role will report on-site daily to our Mesa, AZ campus.

What you'll get to do:
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Review status of projects and associated budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress as well as intervention and problem solving with other team members.
Project Managers are responsible for managing all phases of the project life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects and include, but are not limited to:
Support Program Managers with leading all phases of the project life cycle: proposal development, startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout) as needed
Support Program Managers with leading cross-functional team(s) to meet project cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives
Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and program stakeholders as required
Support the Program Managers with pre-proposal and proposal activities, including the draft and review of product/part selection, scope of work, and financial requirements of the contract
Manage project deliverables to ensure on-time compliance
Support the Program Managers in managing risks and opportunities through allocation of resources, modification of schedule, or revision to contractual terms which working with the Functions, Program Office, and Customer on resolution
Identify and respond to customer needs to support the Portfolio opportunities and growth
Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
Plan, define, establish, communicate, monitor, and control scope to ensure that required work is performed

Basic Qualifications:
For a level 2- Bachelors degree & 2 years of related experience, OR a Masters degree, OR a High School Diploma & 6 years of related experience
For a level 3 - Bachelors degree & 5 years of related experience, OR a Masters degree & 3 years of experience, OR a High school diploma & 9 years of related experience
Demonstrated Project Management knowledge and experience
Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate with cross functional teams internally and with customers externally
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
US Citizen
Able to travel up to 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Science, Engineering, or Business
Experience in the aerospace/defense industry or within the Department of Defense
PMP® certification
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
