Our Future Concepts Team is currently seeking a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager (2/3) based onsite in Northridge, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for metrics management, contractual deliveries, schedule management, cost accountability, and SharePoint site management. This position requires heavy cooperation with cross-organizational teams and customers. The selected candidate must possess the ability to define and clearly articulate/communicate actions and priorities to key staff.

What You'll Get to Do:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the program management office and the project teams.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Reviews status of projects; manages meetings and prepares status reports.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Understand and report on program Operations status at the required level of detail to the Program Manager, Sector Executive Management and customers.
Work with cross organizational teams and customers to set and clearly articulate goals/priorities and successfully communicate them to key staff
This position may be filled as a level 2 or a level 3. Leveling is determined based on a combination of years of experience, education, and other qualifications. Basic qualifications for each level are listed below.
Basic Qualifications Project Manager (2):
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 0 years of experience relevant experience.
Experience with SharePoint Sites and Workflows.
Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance for which US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SAP clearance prior to starting.
Basic Qualifications Principal Project Manager (Principal 3):
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience relevant experience.
Experience with SharePoint Sites and Workflows.
Familiarity with basis of estimates, proposal development, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance for which US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SAP clearance after start within an acceptable timeframe (defined by program leadership).
Preferred Qualifications Project Manager (2):
Familiarity with basis of estimates, proposal development, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Preferred Qualifications both levels:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a STEM field
Demonstrated expertise in the following systems and concepts: - MRP and IMS Scheduling- SAP production planning and material management tools- ISE/CADSTAR/MPLM- Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Program execution experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
