Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support Advanced Programs in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications below.
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with engineering to decompose scope and develop the program's schedule baseline
Work within a team environment consisting of program management, technical, production, financial and other supporting staff
Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality

Performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
Support on contract efforts and proposal schedule along with NCTA efforts
Support delivery of an IPMDAR
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level or at a Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level
Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's; 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma may be accepted in lieu of degree)
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Requires experience working with Level 1 EV
Requires experience working with Primavera
Requires experience in Program Cost Analysis and Program Scheduling
Requires experience with Schedule Analytics
Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel(including Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and/or Macros)
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Experience with other EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment
Experience in cost management
Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) tools
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Experience working IPMDAR deliverable
Experience working proposal schedules

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
