Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Production Test Technician 3 based in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Production Test Technician sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
What you'll get to do:
Perform test and evaluation of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Systems.
Troubleshoot and repair IMU Systems as required.

Support production movement as needed to support daily requirements.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in both written and verbal communication, work in a team environment, and have the ability to read and understand assembly instructions and test procedures. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be capable of operating independently under minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in using digital multi-meters and/or other lab test equipment.
Ability to work 3rd shift (generally between 11 PM - 7 AM).
Experience reading and following test procedures.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing testing environment.
Experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing engineers.
Experience trouble-shooting navigational Instruments.
Experience working with Linux based operating systems.
Associate's degree.

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
