As a Production Planner - Level 1 located in Gilbert, AZ, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Production Planner Level 1 to join our team. This position will be supporting our Harness Manufacturing Work Center and/or our Multi-Layer Insulation Work Center in Gilbert, AZ

This role would join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the space manufacturing industry.

The Production Planner is responsible for a variety of processes. They work alongside various personnel to review demand planning systems to ensure needed materials are available in inventory and issued to the manufacturing team to support operations.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Working on one or more programs where applicable
May work with 3rd party vendor to maintain inventory
Creation and tracking/status of Manufacturing Orders
Kitting and/or fulfilling part requests
Attending all status meetings as required
Attending Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, Customer (SQDEC) meetings
The use of various software programs including Costpoint, MES, Windchill, and TipQA
Interfacing with various personnel including Work Center Planners, Engineers, Schedulers, Technicians, Managers, Operations Team Supervisors, Quality Assurance Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineers, Technical Writers, Stock Room Personnel, Global Supply Chain Planners, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.

No clearance required to start

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Possess a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills
Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to react quickly to people and situations
Process needed documentation
Follow written and verbal instructions
Must be detail oriented
US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical field
Experience working in the Aerospace industry
Self-directed, proactive
Proficiency in Costpoint
Production control planning and scheduling experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $31,500.00 - $52,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
