This position will be located in a Northrop facility in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The qualified applicant will become part of the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC).
This position will serve on-site in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

What You'll Get to Do:
You will fill a role within a large business organization, and will support the senior Proposal Manager and Senior Operations Manager for the organization, and work with program managers, functional leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders across multiple proposal activities.
You will:
Assist in the definition, planning, organizing, and preparing of proposals to include style, formatting, and version control.
Support collaborative, engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent our strategy and baseline while eliminating non-compliances and limiting weaknesses.
Establish and maintain a structured and communicative working environment(s) that support high productivity.
Maintain document library organization, version control of stored documents, and address any classification marking requirements.
Ensure proposal teams are successful in their responsibilities to the program in the areas of processes, procedures, training, communications, metrics, proposal tools, event logistics, and proposal review support.
Schedule and facilitate meetings to track proposal actions and status.
Support the final consolidation of proposal content across volumes (ie. risks, ground rules, and assumptions).
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of proposal schedules, internal and external processes, guidelines, policies, best practices, and review and delivery requirements, and ensure that all team members are aware of and are compliant with these items.
This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Business Development Operations Analyst level or SR Principal Business Development Operations Analyst level.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Business Development Operations Analyst:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience, Master's Degree with 2 years of experience, or a PhD with 0 years of experience.
Demonstrated experience in a proposal or programs operations role.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software tools and systems, e.g. Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and other similar software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Current/Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Basic Qualifications for a SR Principal Business Development Operations Analyst:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 10 years of experience, Master's Degree with 4 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience.
Demonstrated experience in a proposal or programs operations role.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software tools and systems, e.g. Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and other similar software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Current/Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
High proficiency in desktop publishing and Acrobat Pro.
Familiarity with Project & Task Management tools: Jira, Confluence.
Demonstrated success in a proposal or programs operations role.
Experience supporting a capture and/or proposal through a formal process.
Knowledge of U.S. Government's acquisition process.
Knowledge of Northrop Grumman's Business Acquisition Process.
Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
