Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Principal/Sr. Principal Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead that is ready to work across functions to help drive test equipment design, hardware movement in the factory/test, document issues, and drive improvement plans. This position is located in Baltimore, MD.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.
Direct cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams in process improvement efforts to reduce cycles times in manufacturing and test.
Analyze and track system cycle times through all levels of assembly and test to compare actuals to goal

Develop and execute to project budgets and schedules.
Cost account management responsibility for project scope
Brief internal leadership on progress of work assigned.
This role is contingent upon candidates having an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications for the Principal level role:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 5 years of industry experience, or master's degree and 3 years industry experience. An additional 4 years' experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
Must have a current/active Secret clearance. Secret clearance is required to start.
General Knowledge of Test Equipment design and manufacturing
Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead or equivalent experience where responsibilities included: project planning, cost & schedule management including tracking, team tasking / leadership, and status reporting.
Working experience with knowledge of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Material Processing
Basic Qualifications for the Sr. Principal level role:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 8 years of industry experience, or master's degree and 6 years industry experience. An additional 4 years' experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
Must have a current/active Secret clearance. Secret clearance is required to start.
General Knowledge of Test Equipment design and manufacturing
Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead experience or equivalent where responsibilities included: project planning, cost & schedule management including tracking, team tasking / leadership, and status reporting.
Working experience with knowledge of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Material Processing
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical fields.
Team leadership experience in at least one of the following areas: project planning, cost & schedule management including tracking, manufacturing support, vendor support, and engineering design.
Manufacturing, Test, and/or RF Experience
Experience with value stream mapping, continuous improvement methodologies, and success implementing process improvement projects
* CAM certified or able to take CAM course and pass 100-question test.
Primary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
