Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking a Database Administrator/Principal Database Administrator with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database experience at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administrating and advising of the Postgres environment for the NASIC partners.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Database Administrator:

Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
One of the following:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 5 years of related experience
Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 3 years of related experience

5 Years Postgres Administration Experience (or similar relational database solution)
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Database Administrator:

Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
One of the following:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with 12 years of relevant
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 8 years of related experience
Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 6 years of related experience

5 Years Postgres Administration Experience (or similar relational database solution)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or MongoDB Database administration
Experience with Apache, NGINX, or JBoss Server administration
Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, GitLab, etc.
Experience with scripting using tools such as Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.
Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
