Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Material Requirements Planning Analyst within the Production & Material Control Team located in Baltimore, MD.
This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from Baltimore, MD. You must reside within driving distance of our BWI Facilities due to the requirement to be on-site when needed.
What You'll Get to Do:

Analyze manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on needs of assembly demands, component replenishments, substitute parts or materials, production set ups, engineering changes and enterprise supplies

Resolve schedule, material requirement and business system problems with cross-functional representatives

Load and maintain Master Production Schedules into SAP

Review part or material requisitions for release to procurement

Analyze revision notices for incorporation into purchase order and production orders

Resolve master schedule and production problems, and review and update lead times with manufacturing cells

Monitor and help to maintain Grouping, Pegging and Distribution (GPD) for default

Work with Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Operations Project Management, Manufacturing, Inventory, Engineering and Mission Assurance stakeholders to ensure schedule compliance to government requirements and Command Media procedures

Run reports and provide program status to provide visibility to stakeholders

Coordinate project closeout activities

Support and analyze Requests for Pricing Information (RPIs) for BOM and Material Master accuracy

Lead projects that ensure schedule integrity and realism, and improve Master Production Schedule Performance

Lead projects that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

Develop and deliver MRP-related training for internal customers and department staff

Support and drive Operations and MRP visions

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Operations, MRP, or Supply Chain; Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Operations, MRP, or Supply Chain; 9 years of experience in Operations, MRP, or Supply Chain may be considered in lieu of degree requirement

Experience with SAP Material Planning transactions or similar integrated ERP system

Experience working with MRP fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Supply Chain

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or STEM field preferred

Experience with Defense Industry and Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR)

Intermediate MS Excel and data analysis skills

APICS CPIM certification

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
