Working on the KC-30A platform supporting No. 33 Squadron, you will lead an operational maintenance crew to deliver safe, compliant, and mission-ready aircraft. You will provide technical leadership, certification oversight, and supervision to ensure maintenance outcomes meet operational requirements in support of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Lead and supervise an allocated maintenance crew to deliver serviceable aircraft on schedule and within budget.

Perform, supervise, and certify maintenance and Independent Maintenance Inspections as a CASA/DASA B1 licence holder.

Analyse maintenance scope to identify manpower, tooling, spares, and facility requirements.

Provide technical leadership and certification oversight to support critical path and operational outcomes.

Mentor and develop Squadron personnel and apprentices to build capability and maintain compliance.

Support Part 145 activities including deferred maintenance, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement.

About You:

The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1

DASA KC-30A B1 Licence or CASA A330 B1 Licence holder

Current Human Factors Certificate

Demonstrated understanding of external technical and maintenance support networks.

Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in aircraft maintenance supervision

Extensive experience as a transport category aircraft maintenance team lead/supervisor in Line or Base maintenance environments.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
