As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Level 2 located in Dulles, VA, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position will report directly to the ECS BU Business Director and will have regular interactions with the Division CFO, Controller, and Division FP&A organization.
Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage a team of analysts and coordinate all aspects of the Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes for the Business Unit

Lead development of the Business Unit's consolidated Long Range Strategic and Annual Operating Plans
Work with the Operating Unit business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics.
Manage the Business Unit's monthly forecasting process (Monthly / Quarterly / Year End).
Analyze, manage, and optimize cash, AP, AR, working capital, inventory, and balance sheet activities
Primary focal point for the consolidation of all other FP&A metrics for Management review and reporting (NCTAs, CapEx, Budgets, etc).
Audit support with the government DCMA/DCAA, and Internal Audit functions.
Support initiatives and ad hoc requests from Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and 8+ years work experience in a position that includes FP&A and Program execution - OR - Master's Degree and 6+ years' experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience or supervisor experience
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including expertise in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs.
Advanced expertise with Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics, Cognos Reports, SAP, and Costpoint.
Demonstrated ability to create clarity from complicated and disparate data sets
Preferred Qualifications:
CAS and FAR knowledge.
Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics, Cognos Reports, SAP, and Costpoint experience.
Northrop Grumman Financial Planning (NGFP) Tool experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
