This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
This role would join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the space manufacturing industry.

Material Control personnel are responsible for a variety of processes. Their workload is provided by the various roles of planning team.

This position demands strong attention to detail and will provide support to our stores team.
This position will work a 9/80B schedule, 7AM - 4:30PM with every other Friday off.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Process and pick material for manufacturing orders
All materials sent to the production floor must be counted and verified. Some items will require hand counting, while others will be counted using a counting scale.
Kit Auditing to ensure all counts are accurate prior to release to production.

Staging material via pallet jack to move heavier items.
Record time spent on each project.
Process account transfers. (material will remain in stock until issue request is submitted)
Perform cycle counts at the beginning of the shift.
Access material from higher locations by using a ladder or elevating work platform. (training required)
Deliver small priority requests via low-speed vehicle. (training required)

Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience related experience.

No clearance required to start

Must be a US citizen
1 year experience in a stockroom/warehouse environment.
Candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines.
Must have a Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. by hand.
Must be able to work overtime.
Able to organize tasks and time to ensure the timely completion of all projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with logistics/warehouse.

Primary Level Salary Range: $31,500.00 - $52,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
