Fabrication Shop Manager

Ensure compliance with security, documentation, and operational requirements, especially when working with consultants or contingent workers.
Approve timecards, leave requests, and monitor compliance with company policies (e.g., jury duty, alcohol at company events).
Maintain accountability for team performance, supplier management, and program deliverables.
Support business continuity, crisis management, and resource prioritization during disruptions.
Collaborate with other managers and departments to achieve organizational goals and support employee development.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Basic Requirements for the Fabrication Shop Manager:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment; OR a master's degree and 6 or more years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. (An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.)
Experience in team leadership, resource management, and compliance.
Experience with company policies, security requirements, and operational procedures.
Experience evaluating drawings for machining processes
Experience evaluating drawings for bill of material creation and quoting
Preferred Qualifications for the Fabrication Shop Manager:

Basic test station experience
Experience managing a storeroom
Experience creating and managing job requisitions, positions, and hiring processes.
Experience overseeing the operations of the machine shop and small electronics fab shop
Experience evaluating potential work going into the machine shop and small electronics fab shop and provide quote estimates as needed

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
