Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking a software engineer needed to support engineering tools in multi-sector enterprise environments (unclassified and classified).
The position will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of Commercial and Open Source applications used by Software and Systems Engineering.
This role can be performed in one of 4 locations: Roy, Utah, Falls Church, VA, Melbourne, Florida or Redondo Beach, California. Candidates who are able to report to one of these locations on a full time basis will be considered.
Responsibilities include:
Configure, deploy and administer commercial and open source SW Factory applications
Develop code to aid in administration of the SW Factory
Provide end user support to SW Factory suite of applications
Monitor, address, and resolve production SW Factory application incidents
Interfacing, collaboratively, with the other development and administration teams inside of Corporate
Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products
We are looking for the following characteristics to be demonstrated by our ideal candidate:

Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a BS Degree and a minimum of three years of experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Server/Client Software installation experience
Software installation experience
Understanding of core IT competencies (Networking, Servers, DBs, Apps)
Experience programing in scripting languages (Python, Java)
This position requires eligibility to receive a DoD Secret clearance following a reasonable amount of time after hire. (US Citizenship will be required with the ability to obtain Special Program Access following a reasonable amount of time following hire.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical (administrative is preferred) foundation in several of the following technologies:
Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub (and GitHub Actions), Gitlab (and GitLab Runners), SonarQube, Nexus Repository Lifecycle and Firewall, Atlassian (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Key cloak
Administration experience with Postgres
CompTIA Security+ certification
AWS console administration experience
An Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
