Position Overview:
The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial component of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, oversee the battle, and control networked sensors and weapon systems in real time to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defenses, enabling quick and effective responses to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensors and weapon systems at global and regional levels, thereby enhancing performance. C2BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests to verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense capabilities.
The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring and the operations and maintenance of the C2BMC-G systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment, enabling Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense. The candidate will provide first-level technical support to the customer and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC-G hardware, software, and networks.
Essential Functions:

Will document and report all events and issues to leadership
Will receive tasking and direction from leadership for all operations, tests, and real-world events
Will assist with the maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
Maintains and operates the C2BMC-G mission and training systems environment for both operational and training missions, supported by C2BMC's location in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC)
Solves problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity
Work is closely supervised, following established policies and procedures, or performed under very general supervision
Contacts are primarily with the immediate supervisor and within the company or group, but may be external as well
Performs other duties and assignments as required
Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in STEM Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM-related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued
Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the eligibility to be read onto SCI clearance
Strong background and experience in operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments
Must have experience in system and/or network administration that includes the following (UNIX, Linux, and Windows)
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components
Experienced in data flow usage and able to troubleshoot with internal and external agencies to establish network connectivity
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems
Linux Certification (Linux Essentials, Linux+, LPIC-1, RHCSA)
Experience using Confluence and Jira
Basic scripting (Bash)
Active Directory experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
