Northrop Grumman's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Classified Solutions Director for the Mission Systems (MS) sector. This position is accountable for providing overall Classified IT Infrastructure and IT Cybersecurity strategy and execution for MS. The selected candidate will lead a large and geographically diverse organization that will drive and execute the classified strategy aligned to sector, program, and CIDO goals, as well as design and execute road maps, architecture, and resource management plans that align to sector needs. The position is located in Linthicum, MD and will report to the Mission Systems CIDO, and will work closely with CIDO Program Directors and Sector Security to enable sector teams to meet operational goals, including compliance with government regulations: for example, the RMF, JSIG, and other compliance requirements. Please note that the candidate selected for this position will be required to work on-site at our Linthicum, MD campus - this is not a remote work opportunity.
Additionally, this position is accountable for developing and implementing a talent strategy, specifically focusing on building a culture of high-performing leaders, developing employees, and building a technical talent pool. This position requires a dynamic leader that can drive cultural change, build relationships, and understand emerging technology. The selected candidate must be willing to travel in support of program activities and the statement of work; up to 25% travel is expected.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Lead sector team of senior managers, functional managers, and employees located in various geographical locations.

Oversee classified program standup and ongoing execution to ensure continuous compliance and information system reliability, availability, security, scalability, and performance.

Development and execute cost and capability strategy aligned to the Chief Information & Digital Office.

Optimize value by working with suppliers to understand emergent technologies.

Champion change and innovation to support continual service improvement.

Drive technical solutions to meet customer and company requirements.

Financial management including costs, pricing, billing, and rate structure.

Short- and long-term planning, including metrics reporting on cost, performance, and compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field of study and 15+ years of relevant professional experience (or 12+ years of relevant professional experience with a Master's degree).

Must have a current DoD Secret level security clearance to be considered, based on a completed investigation date completed within the past 6 years, or must be enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP); maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance as a condition of continued employment.

The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance as a condition of continued employment.

Experience supporting and managing classified environments for manufacturing, engineering, development, and production programs.

Direct financial and budget management experience for programs exceeding $10M.

Demonstrated ability of leading through significant culture and change management initiatives.

Development of metrics and reporting on short-term and long-term goals.

Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.

Must be flexible and demonstrate strong judgment/decision-making skills, as well as strong business and technical acumen.

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills, as well as program management, strategy, analytical, planning, and presentation skills are required.

Experience leading large, diverse/matrixed functional or program teams driving outcomes and achieving results, including leading with Agile and/or SAFE methodologies, and leading aspects of digital transformation.

Management experience and skills, or other comparable leadership positions, to include management of offsite and matrixed personnel, and employee development and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current DoD 8570 IAM level III security certification (e.g. CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, or CISM).

Prior IT management experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $194,600.00 - $292,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
