Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement DSP/SIGINT software modules in C/C++ on Linux.
Enhance and maintain existing code bases, improving performance, reliability, and scalability.
Develop and optimize algorithms for:
FIR and IIR filters
Multi-rate filtering and decimation/interpolation
FFT, correlation, and spectral analysis
Modulation/demodulation (analog & digital) and bit-level processing
Digital Beam Forming (DBF) and general I/Q processing

Conduct thorough unit, integration, and system testing of communications and SIGINT applications.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, system engineers, and program managers to translate system requirements into robust software solutions.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
Produce clear documentation, design reviews, and technical reports.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing software for DSP and/or SIGINT systems.
Current Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application
Technical Skills:
Expert knowledge of Digital Signal Processing and communications theory.
Proficiency in Linux development environment and C/C++.
Strong background in analog/digital modulation and demodulation techniques.
In-depth understanding of signal-processing algorithms, including FIR/IIR filtering, multi-rate processing, FFT, correlation, and I/Q data handling.
Experience developing software for modulation recognition, demodulation, and bit-level processing.

Domain Experience: Demonstrated work in communications or SIGINT system development and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science (MSEE) or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related discipline.

Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
