This position will be on site in Falls Church, VA. This role requires full-time onsite support; remote or teleworking will not be considered for this role.
Position Overview
In this position you will work closely with senior executives, customers, and government representatives, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations/customers; the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality; and the ability to execute tasks and projects independently. To be successful you must be an exceptional team player, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must provide excellent follow-through, exercise good judgment, demonstrate flexibility and agility, manage schedule conflicts, and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Travel planning
Managing expense reports
Meeting planning and execution
Providing administrative support to leadership as assigned
Collecting and preparing information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and external customers.
Analyzing data to determine root cause of complex problems and to identify solutions
Facilitating program meetings, executive meetings, customer visits, and other events
Arranging executive level travel arrangements for domestic and international travel
Demonstrating a wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered at the executive level.
Operating independently to meet the requirements of the leadership team and offering expertise to assist other functions within organization.
Report generation and compilation.

Handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Making high level contacts of a sensitive nature both within and outside of the company.
Exercising strong judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Support logistics planning and execution of meetings of varying classification levels that may span multiple computer networks (i.e. unclassified and classified computer systems).
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to consolidate and organize PowerPoint decks; coordinate with creative services as needed
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of additional education and/or experience in the administrative professional field; OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in the administrative professional field.
Understands the sensitive nature of working in the executive office and have good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) to maintain calendars, coordinate meetings and compose briefings, reports, correspondence, and memorandum.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities across a geographically dispersed team.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively at all levels within the organization while protecting and maintaining confidentiality
Ability to assess priorities and manage multiple administrative tasks
Proficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur or similar)
Experience in planning and providing logistical support for meetings and events
Effective networking skills to be able to find solutions to wide range of issues
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business need.
Preferred Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor 's Degree
Good sense of humor
Experience in reviewing and editing written material for correct spelling and grammar
Familiarity and experience working with Northrop Grumman systems (SAP, Concur, SmartBuy, iTrip)
Knowledge of NGC resources, polices, and procedures
Advanced experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system
Experience supporting senior level management/customers in a dynamic program environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $66,600.00 - $111,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
