Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant 3/4 to work at its Logan, UT facility. This position will be hired to level 3 or level 4 depending upon demonstrated skills, experience, and education level. The position is on-site only, and the schedule is 9/80 with every other Friday off. This is not a remote work position.
Our Logan, UT team researches, designs, develops, produces, and tests a variety of mechanical, electrical/electronic, and electro-optical equipment and systems including low background infrared scene/source generators, optical collimators and scan mirror systems, cryogenic positioning hardware, infrared imaging, and instrumentation of vacuum/space/environment chambers. We support the government and prime contractors in the development and production of both test systems and flight hardware for a multitude of applications including tactical missiles, launch detection, and missile defense systems. Our work protects our country from enemy threats.

Responsibilities:
Work independently with minimal supervision to:
Collaborate closely with other administrative professionals in related organizations
Manage food orders and distribution during extended operations events and lunchtime meetings
Maintain in-person presence to support ad-hoc requests from team members
Managing inventory of and placing/tracking orders for office supplies and general support equipment
Receive mail and shipments (no heavy lifting required)
Maintain meetings minutes and actions
Apply organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and situations
Computer-based administrative responsibilities include:
Calendar management
Manage email distribution lists, conference room calendars, and phone lists
Visitor coordination including arrangements, visit approvals, and serve as visitor liaison
Scan and organize documentation
Meeting organization and planning
Travel expense report generation and closeout
Help coordinate/prepare briefing packages
General office management tasks
Assist with overseeing office moves and support facility related actions
Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
Gather, compile, and report on information relevant to supervisors' assignment.
The position requires a positive team player who is dependable, accurate, and efficient with the experience and ability to effectively interface with various levels of Northrop Grumman leadership, support organizations, and customers.
Additional responsibilities may include the following based on experience and aptitude:
Involvement in Document Control, e.g. management of engineering documentation
Involvement in ERP/MRP transactions in SAP
Involvement in purchasing for projects, e.g. generation of Purchase Requisitions and tracking of PRs and POs
Involvement in facility management including manufacturing supplies
Basic Qualifications for Administrative Assistant 3:
High School diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Basic Qualifications for Administrative Assistant 4:
High School diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

* Higher education, training, and/or experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management (Purchasing, Inventory, etc), Document Control, or Facilities Management.
Primary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
