Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Structural Mechanical Engineer and/or Structural Mechanical Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA.
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Structural Mechanical Engineer:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Basic Qualifications for Structural Mechanical Engineer:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Masters Degree from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field in satellite or launch vehicle liquid propulsion systems and/or experience with related aerospace flight hardware procurements
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
Supported spacecraft system design definition and component selection and/or procurements
Authored or reviewed performance specifications, requirements and/or test procedures for related aerospace hardware procurements.
Experience with review of engineering design analysis, manufacturing documentation, CAD models, authoring test or operations procedures
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

Associate Structural Mechanical Engineer: 74000 -111000
Structural Mechanical Engineer: 89,400.00 - 134,200.00
