Nike's Cloud Networking team, part of Cloud & Core Engineering's Runtime Plane, provisions cloud networking components across AWS and Azure. The India-based team partners with engineers in Beaverton to deliver enterprise-scale network automation and operations. The greater team partners with cloud, security, and application engineering groups to keep connectivity reliable, secure, and operationally excellent.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer with strong experience in AWS and Azure networking to design, automate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure across hundreds of AWS accounts and a growing Azure footprint. The ideal candidate designs, deploys, and maintains cloud networking solutions, automates provisioning and operational workflows, and troubleshoots connectivity, routing, and application network issues at scale. They bring strong experience in AWS networking - VPC, Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) - and Azure networking including Virtual WAN, VNets, and NSGs. A strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, BGP, DNS, and network security is required, along with Python scripting, Jenkins pipelines, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. The candidate demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, self-management, independent ownership, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset focused on results and continuous improvement.

The candidate needs to have deep AWS and Azure networking expertise, strong automation skills in Python and Terraform, and the ability to collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams. They must be comfortable driving operational excellence through automation, working independently with minimal supervision, and explaining technical decisions clearly to teammates.

• 7+ years experience designing, automating, and supporting enterprise cloud networking in AWS and Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Networking, CCNP/CCIE, or similar certifications preferred.

• You'll design, deploy, and maintain cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure.
• You'll automate network provisioning, testing, and operational workflows.
• You'll troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and application network issues.
• You'll collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams across Nike's global engineering organization.
• You'll drive operational excellence through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
