Principal, Gaming Operations and Partner Management

The Gaming Partnerships team is focused on breaking new ground for Nike's future. We seek to authentically embed Nike into the dynamic world of gaming to elevate our global portfolio and deepen youth engagement. In addition, also unlocking a sustainable licensing play through scalable digital IP from strategic partnerships.

This high-performance role blends skills from Project Operations and Partner Management to support existing portfolio of Gaming Partnerships. In this role, you'll be collaborating externally with Gaming companies and internally with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Gaming Partnerships is a new and evolving offense that requires comfort with ambiguity and the ability to create structure where none exists.

The role depends heavily on strong communication and relationship-building skills due to the number of internal and external stakeholders involved.

PARTNER MANAGEMENT

  • Manage existing partnerships with Game studios and build ongoing support framework.
  • Negotiate and execute ongoing gaming projects and seasonal integration. Partner with internal teams [Nike/Jordan/Converse] and Energy Gaming functions to help execute bespoke activations across the portfolio of titles.
  • Work with support Functions in Finance and Legal teams to maintain contracts and licensing revenue management.
  • Lead regular Partner meetings and functional check ins.

PARTNER OPERATIONS

  • Overall operational ownership of work-steams for gaming partnerships.
  • Maintain operational discipline across partner onboarding, workflows, and delivery milestones.
  • Build scalable tools, processes and dashboards that streamline communication and improve visibility.
  • Partner with internal teams across Nike, Jordan, Converse, Energy Gaming, and Pre-Order to align flow of product into Games.
  • Provide input on scaling operations, improving processes, and supporting new partnership models.
  • Track KPIs, milestones, and partner performance, and deliver insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of core experience in Project Operations and Internal/External Stakeholder management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, experience or education
  • Advance problem-solving skills. Ability to work with complex projects with Cross-functional teams
  • Good knowledge of Gaming, Sport, Sneakers and Streetwear.
  • Good knowledge of Contracts, Project Management tools and Presentation.
  • Pro-active attitude and an eagerness to learn quickly, contribute to company strategy, and build the vision
