The role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment-both independently and as part of the Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) Nike Direct Digital team. It partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Tech, Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, MSC, and NDDC, to align priorities and deliver initiatives that drive marketplace success in Japan.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, process improvement, or data-driven analysis within retail or e-commerce environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong foundation in supply chain operations and continuous improvement methodologies; familiarity with retail or digital commerce preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, IF, AND, MID, and Pivot Tables); experience with SQL, SAP, Cognos, and Tableau is a plus.
  • Core competencies include a customer-focused mindset, ability to collaborate effectively, results-driven approach, action orientation, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese, including experience facilitating meetings and delivering strategic recommendations.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will ensure efficient and reliable end-to-end supply chain operations for Nike Direct Digital by executing daily processes in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will analyze workflows, track KPIs, and support business needs and projects with a consumer-first mindset to drive operational excellence.

  • Understand Nike Direct business operations and supply chain processes, including system background.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent execution against MSC code calendar processes.
  • Resolve critical issues related to order changes, product delivery, and fulfilment services with internal partners.
  • Monitor and improve performance KPIs to maximize service and inform business decisions.
  • Provide quality process analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities for Kaizen improvement activities and projects.
  • Drive cross-functional discussions to research business needs and gather requirements for solving complex supply chain challenges.
