WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As Athlete Field Rep you will be an integral part of the Nike SB Global Sports Marketing team, reporting into the Global Sports Marketing Director. You will work closely with cross functional partners in Brand Marketing, Product, Merchandising, and Marketplace. You will be an ambassador of the Nike brand within the skate industry. You will join a world class team focused on the progression of skateboarding and bringing energy to Nike.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As an Athlete Field Rep for Nike SB, you are passionate about skateboarding. You have a deep understanding of the sport and experience working with skate athletes. You keep your finger on the pulse of skateboarding and skate culture. You have a knack for building and nurturing relationships with athletes and partners in the skate community. You are comfortable managing athletes on the road and have a willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. You have business acumen and a strong ability to collaborate within a corporate environment.

  • 5+ years skate industry experience in sports marketing, brand marketing, management, or similar role strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Established relationships in skate industry and with professional skate athletes
  • Travel up to 50% of the year (domestic and international)
  • Adaptable to dynamic work environments
  • Proficient in business applications such as Keynote, Excel, and Airtable, with strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

In this role, you will nurture the relationships with Nike's portfolio of skate athletes and partners to be the bridge that connects them to the business. You will work directly with internal partners across functions on strategic plans to leverage and elevate our portfolio of athletes. You will drive our athlete service strategy through product seeding, travel support, and experiences.

  • Manage relationships with Nike SB athletes and partners
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to develop and execute business initiatives
  • Assist in planning and executing sports marketing strategic plans
  • Facilitate and book travel for athletes
  • Manage promo requests and order entry
  • Forecast and track budget spending
  • Identify future talent and partnership opportunities, as well as identify trends and market insights
