Who You'll Work With

Based in Rio de Janeiro and reporting to the Sr Manager, Sports Marketing, Global Football, LATAM, this role will guide Nike's Next Generation Football Player strategy across the region. You will partner closely with Global Football, LATAM Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Marketplace, Product, Operations and Communications teams while building trusted relationships across the football ecosystem, including clubs, academies, federations, athletes, agents and families. Collaboration will be central to strengthening Nike's future athlete pipeline across Latin America.

Nike is looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Sports Marketing professional who is passionate about identifying and developing the future generation of football talent across Latin America.

This person brings deep football industry expertise and understands that building a world-class athlete portfolio starts long before athletes reach the global stage. They combine exceptional relationship-building skills with strong business acumen, sound judgment and the ability to influence long-term investment decisions through athlete insights and portfolio strategy.

Success in this role requires curiosity, a proactive mindset and the ability to navigate a fast-moving football landscape. This person is highly connected across the industry, constantly identifying emerging opportunities while building trusted relationships that position Nike to secure the region's most promising talent and strengthen our long-term athlete pipeline.

You will bring:

  • Extensive Sports Marketing experience within the football industry, including athletes, clubs, academies, federations or related organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the Latin American football ecosystem and player development pathways.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with athletes, agents, clubs and key football stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing, communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
  • Flexibility to travel across Latin America and support key football moments outside standard business hours.

What You'll Work On

You will drive Nike's Next Generation Football Player strategy across Latin America, building the region's future athlete pipeline while identifying, recruiting and developing the next generation of football talent for the brand.

You will:

  • Lead Talent Identification initiatives across Latin America, continuously assessing the football landscape to identify the region's highest-potential athletes.
  • Build and manage Nike's Next Generation Football Player portfolio, leading athlete recruitment, servicing and long-term development strategies.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clubs, academies, federations, athletes, families and agents to strengthen Nike's presence across the football ecosystem.
  • Partner with Global Football and cross-functional teams to integrate athletes into product innovation, brand storytelling and marketplace priorities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on athlete investments, portfolio evolution and long-term opportunities across LATAM.
  • Own the early stages of the athlete lifecycle from talent identification through recruitment, servicing and long-term development - creating a seamless pathway into Nike's established Global Football Player portfolio.
  • Continuously identify and unlock future athlete opportunities, strengthening Nike's competitive position and ensuring Latin America continues to deliver the strongest pipeline of football talent for the brand.
