WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The AirMI Network Team shapes Nike's global Air Manufacturing Network-driving strategy, sustainability, communications, and external partnerships that influence how Air innovation scales worldwide. This role partners closely with leaders across Supply Chain, Air MI, Facilities, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Strategy, and Program Management.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is looking for a strategic thinker who sees systems clearly and moves confidently between long-term vision and near-term action. Someone who thrives in complexity, translates technical detail into strategic clarity, and builds alignment across diverse teams. They understand manufacturing at a deep operational level, yet stay high enough to see patterns, risks, and opportunity. They influence without authority, ground recommendations in data, and build storytelling that moves people toward shared outcomes. They are curious, collaborative, and energized by shaping how Nike Air meets the future.

Required skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 6 years of experience in strategy, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or related fields
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in matrixed environments
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive-level slide-building skills

Preferred skills:

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other data processing tools
  • Knowledge of Nike Air technology, Air portfolio, and/or Air manufacturing methods
  • Familiarity with footwear manufacturing processes and production timelines

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You'll help shape, evaluate, and evolve the Air Manufacturing Network so it's ready for what Nike designs next. You'll turn complex operational, technical, and financial insights into clear strategies that strengthen resiliency, efficiency, capacity, and responsiveness across a global manufacturing ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with teams across Air MI and Nike (Supply Chain, Facilities, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Strategy, Sustainability, Communications, and Program Management, ...)-to optimize machines, systems, production lines, facilities, and global manufacturing partners

  • Evaluate network performance across efficiency, capacity, resiliency, responsiveness, sustainability, cost, and modernization to identify risks, constraints, and breakthrough opportunities
  • Synthesize operational, technical, and financial inputs from cross-functional partners to inform network-wide strategies and trade-off decisions
  • Apply risk analysis, resilient manufacturing principles, and financial fundamentals (revenue, margin, labor, overhead, profit) to strategic recommendations
  • Influence and align cross-functional partners across Supply Chain, Facilities, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Strategy, and Program Management
  • Lead early-stage planning and strategy development for multi-layered initiatives, ensuring clarity of scope, risks, interdependencies, and objectives
  • Develop sharp, executive-ready presentations that distill complex topics into compelling, actionable narratives that drive alignment and maintain momentum through change
