Lead Buyer Associate, NVS - North America
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This is the Nike matrix: You will report to North America Business Integration, yet you will work very closely with NA Value Buyers, Planners and Allocators. In your role, you will serve as the key contact for all buys placed in SAP on behalf of USA Nike Value.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a North America (NA) Lead Buyer Associate who enjoys working with data and product in a fast-paced team environment. This role's primary responsibility is to partner with our NA Nike NVS/CLR Buyers to manage and enter the seasonal buys for USA Nike NVS/CLR into SAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a deadline driven environment and is proficient with MS Excel at an intermediate/advanced level. We're also looking for a standout teammate with strong communication skills.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 1-2 years relevant work experience, preferably in a data intensive role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel at an intermediate/advanced level is preferred
- Ability to work in deadline driven environment and sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Experience investigating, capturing and maintaining product data in an information management system or complex database is preferred
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with Nike Buyers, Planners and Allocators (and other cross-functional teammates) to ensure the buys for USA Nike Value are accurate, timely and complete. You will support Nike Value team needs, including order entry, contract moves, and price maintenance, where applicable. You will also investigate and maintain Nike Value product information through various systems in support of the Buying organization. A typical day/week includes partnering with the Nike Value Buyer team, in-system data entry/management, responding to multiple emails/requests and attending various meetings.
