The annual base salary for this position ranges from $159,600.00 in our lowest geographic market to $336,800.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As the Director and global lead for storytelling experiences and digital merchandising, you will set the vision and strategy for Converse's digital experience and merchandising capability. You will guide the daily storytelling and journey-optimization work that powers a global, high-volume digital direct business. You will elevate and evolve several core strategic capabilities, including:

• Experience and Content Planning - Partner across the enterprise to translate seasonal storytelling initiatives into impactful digital experiences that support converse.com. Ideate next-level storytelling opportunities, develop clear briefs, and collaborate with internal and external creative partners to build distinctive, emotive stories that connect with consumers.

• Digital Journey Optimization - Craft industry-leading, product-forward experiences throughout the converse.com ecosystem. Develop and deliver optimized product journeys across site search, gridwalls, and PDPs-ensuring they match the innovation and energy of our products. Use data and insight to optimize consumer journeys, ensuring relevance, eliminating friction, and meeting visitors where they are with compelling product experiences.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This is a highly cross-functional, senior role that leads across the organization to bring Converse's most important brand narratives and digital experiences to life on converse.com. Key partners include brand marketing, omni-channel marketing, brand creative, merchandising/planning, CRM, and UX/Digital Capabilities teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic, and collaborative leader with a refined eye for digital storytelling and premium product presentation. They are energized by shaping vision, building teams, and translating insights into breakthrough digital experiences.

More specifically:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

• 9+ years' experience with progressively expansive responsibility leading digital content development, experience planning, storytelling and on-site merchandising experiences.

• 5+ years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing talent; recruiting and retaining high-performing teams.

• Deep experience guiding digital projects from concept to completion, applying retail and editorial best practices.

• Extensive experience leading day-to-day site-experience teams, responding to shifting consumer dynamics, interpreting behavioral data/site analytics, and translating insights into actions that drive business outcomes.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects at varying complexity levels with converging timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Endlessly curious, resourceful, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong people-leadership skills, diplomacy, and a collaborative mindset.

• Strong understanding of UX, SEO, and SEM as strategic levers to drive results.

• Passionate about at least one of the following: sneaker culture, streetwear, fashion/style, design, sports, or music.
