Marketing Communications Writer
Overview
Responsible for developing and delivering compelling, member-focused messaging that promotes Navy Federal products and services to drive engagement, brand awareness and product adoption. Writes copy for all channels with an emphasis on email and notifications. Partners closely with legal and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, accurate, and effective communication. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, applies best practices and ensures consistency across products and campaigns. Leverages a strong understanding of audience segments to tailor content. Brings technical writing expertise and familiarity with financial product features and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop content for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with business goals.
- Analyze campaign/test results and implement learnings into communications.
- Keep current with industry standards, competitors and product offerings.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years marketing copywriting experience
- Basic understanding of business and operating environment.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns, express brand voice across channels and skillfully adjust tone to match the intent, context and sensitivity of each communication.
- Experience with content creation, email marketing, and analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Current portfolio or work samples related to the role
- Experience leading creative teams is a bonus
- Knowledge of financial products and services and experience working in a regulated field
