What you'll do:

  • Work towards our goal of a fully automated, world-class deployment pipeline
  • Enable teams to take ownership of their entire SDLC, from code to customer
  • Collaborate with your fellow engineers to make new code available to our customers quickly and reliably
  • Assist with deployment cycle tasks and find reliable ways to automate them going forward
  • Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Perform server administration using Windows and Linux command-line tools for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Own the tools and environments critical to a successful engineering organization
  • Discover, design, create and support the next generation of tools that will accelerate our development processes for years to come


What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Excellent experience writing scripts, and automating builds and deployments
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and services (S3, Lambda, EC2, EKS, etc.) and provisioning and maintaining AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Good understanding of containerization and working with Docker and ECS
  • Experience with tools such as or similar to PowerShell/Bash Scripting, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions and/or Octopus Deploy
  • Experience with GitHub - version control, GIT commands, branching strategies and workflows
  • Bonus if you have experience with Infrastructure as Cod (IaC) tools (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform) and /or orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Good understanding of server administration (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Experience supporting and developing enterprise software that exceeds the industry standards for security, accessibility and user experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and attitude to focus on team specific goals and objectives
