Wealth Management Operations Associate
We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in our Toronto office for Wealth Management Operations.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.
This is an Associate level role at the P2 job level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes

The Wealth Canada Operations Associate is responsible ensuring successful onboarding of new advisors, accurate and timely processing of investment transactions, account transfers, account maintenance, documentation handling for all investment account types, executing fees for both managed and fee based accounts, and client service support in compliance with both CIRO regulatory policies and Internal policies. Accounts for the following business lines: Full Service Financial Advisors, Virtual Advisors, Self- Directed (Discount), OMNIBUS accounts to support Corporate Plan business (ESOP).
This is a hybrid in office role - (3 days in office minimum * subject to change)
Required Skills:
Minimum 3/5 years work experience within the Wealth Management retail mid office operations support space at CIRO/IIROC broker dealer
Experience working on a Canadian brokerage platform: Dataphile preferred, knowledge of ISM or Broadridge acceptable
Knowledge of Retail Canadian Wealth Account Types for client Account Opening types: (Cash, Margin, Registered, Managed Accounts) and Product types: mutual funds (PAC/SIP/SWIP's) & Fee Based Products (Fee set up & posting)
Knowledge of Client Account transfer process (in-kind, cash & security positions), via ATON and non-Aton / Book cost
Knowledge of Self Direct Registered Plans (RRSP/RIF's /TFSA etc.), contributions, de-reg cash/security in kind.
Understanding reconciliation process (cash & security positions)

Must have strong writing capabilities and communicate in a clear verbal manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organizations skills, with the ability to multitask
Able to work collaboratively within a team environment (locally and other service groups globally), and work outside a defined job description
Strong Excel skills (create macros, pivot tables)
-Education: University and or College degree
-CSC (Canadian Securities Course) and or other Financial Industry courses would be an asset
