We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Operations Risk and Regulatory Control to set direction, govern delivery, and realise business and regulatory outcomes across assigned squads through strategic prioritization, budget management, and cross-functional leadership at the intersection of Operations, Technology, Risk, and Transformation.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Strategic Specialist position at Vice President within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Oversee complex process management and change efforts, developing and implementing business plans and strategic vision for a group of specialists or varied specialist functions within allocated budget
  • Manage multiple projects/products simultaneously with accountability for risks associated with delivery and execution of the project/program, engaging with internal and / or external stakeholders in the decision-making process and managing relationships with partners across the organization
  • Drive collaboration across Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Technology Leads, and business stakeholders to align delivery with strategic objectives, investment cases, and firm commitments
  • Guide delivery trade-offs informed by risk, control impact, and operational resilience considerations, ensuring regulatory-first prioritization and compliance with firmwide standards
  • Monitor agile metrics, capacity creation, and KPIs; report strategic health checks to senior leadership; and foster a culture of shared accountability, best practice, and team excellence
  • Oversee complex process management and change efforts, developing and implementing business plan and strategic vision for a group of specialists or varied specialist functions within allocated budget
  • Address highly complex or time sensitive business matters, leveraging relationships across functional groups to define and deliver solutions
  • Manage multiple projects/products simultaneously with accountability for risks associated with delivery and execution of the project/program, engaging with internal and / or external stakeholders in the decision-making process and managing relationships with partners across the organization


What you'll bring to the role:
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions on resource allocation, prioritization, and delivery trade-offs; set strategic direction aligned to business outcomes; and balance competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and regulatory requirements
  • Strong capability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and complex programmes using agile methodology; proven delivery track record in agile environments; establish governance frameworks and cadence.
  • Co-ordinate cross-functional dependencies; and maintain delivery momentum while ensuring quality and control standards
  • Exceptional ability to build credible partnerships across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance; influence without direct authority; and provide clear, compelling updates to senior leadership forums
  • Understanding of budget processes, investment cases, and value management; ability to align delivery roadmaps to financial planning cycles; and demonstrate return on investment through measurable KPIs and business outcomes
  • Broad understanding across multiple processes, systems and markets in addition to detailed subject matter expertise of various key products/processes
  • Role model that advocates for your team, motivates and engages staff to achieve vision and inspire respect; supports and promotes the Firm's vision and values
  • At least 8 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
