We're seeking someone to join our team as a Technology COO - Talent Development Coordinator to work in our Technology Talent Development (TTD) team.
The Technology Talent Development (TTD) team sits within the Technology Chief Operating Officer division. The mission of Technology Talent Development is to enable the Technology division to achieve outstanding results by delivering world class programs supporting their teams and strategic objectives. The Technology Talent Development team develops and delivers custom and industry standard learning and development programs for the Technology division of Morgan Stanley. The Technology Talent Development Team offers Emerging Talent Learning, Continuous Learning, and Career Enablement programming with associated operational and reporting support for the 25K+ people in the Technology organization. We also foster a world class learning culture supporting Morgan Stanley Technology team members to be their best. Initiatives managed by the team include Technology Intern and Analyst Programs, Technology Strategy Learning Programs (e.g. AI/ML, Data, Cyber, Resilience, Automation, Innovation) and Technical Skills Training programs and single courses, Tech eLearning platforms, Learning Culture programs, Tech New Hire Orientation programs, Mobility and Mentorship programs, Professional Skills and Business Knowledge Training, Training Operations and Reporting and associated

What you'll do in the role
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the training programs across various Technology silos, including Technology Analyst Program (TAP), New to Tech (NTT), Upskill Rally, and Vendor-led Learning Programs
- Managing all logistics of training programs, including:
- Facilitating all pre-Program communications in collaboration with Human Resource Campus Recruitment Teams for TAP & NTT
- Coordinating all aspects of Technology Analyst onboarding and orientation experience
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with conference center staff, multimedia, food/catering and facilities (onsite)
- Overseeing internal/external venue logistics (onsite)
- Overseeing site operations and candidate transitions session-to-session, week-to-week
- Scheduling course dates/times with internal/external vendors
- Tracking candidate travel and housing details
- Maintaining Program calendars
- Maintaining Jive and SharePoint sites
- Preparing materials for distribution
- Creating class rosters and tracking classroom attendance
- Addressing Analyst queries and escalating as appropriate
- Partnering with the HR Talent Management Central team to administer set-up and registration of learning programs in Cornerstone
- Generating feedback evaluation criteria, assessing and measuring the effectiveness of the training currently in place and refining existing training programs in conjunction with the Program Manager in order to manage experience, manage cost and improve efficiencies
- Collaborating with regional counterparts on various global program aspects such as analyzing and maintaining centralized feedback collection, engagement events virtual or onsite, internals training, final project and more
What you'll bring to the role
- Undergraduate degree (at least)
- 3-5 Years' experience in learning operations and administration
- Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone on Demand, etc)
- Experience with Agile methodology for project management and JIRA a plus
- Personable, good listening skills, able to speak in front of groups
- Excellent attention to detail during busy times whilst processing a high volume of requests
- Effective communication skills and an ability to liaise with people on all levels
- Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel/PowerPoint & Word
- Understanding of data, metrics, analytics, a plus
- Certain amount of flexibility e.g., a willingness to work overtime when required
- Interested in working with a global team
- Desire to build a career in program management
- Interest in talent development, management, and retention
- Interest in technology; (knowledge will grow as the candidate becomes increasingly more involved in program management and in demonstrating understanding of the curriculum)
