Storage Engineer_Director_Infrastructure Production Management & Reliability Engineering
Profile Description
We're seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology team as a Storage Engineer, in Enterprise Computing (EC) to who will be responsible for managing infrastructure, handling incidents, implementing projects, and driving automation initiatives in the Storage Technologies within the Organization. The ideal candidate will work across global teams to support business-critical applications, ensure data integrity and security of organization's global storage infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

This is Director position that maintains the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

What you'll do in the role:
- Provide L3 support for Storage, Incident management
- Develop scripts for operational efficiency and standardization.
- Proactive Capacity planning for Storage Infrastructure
- Cross functional team collaboration for new implementations
What you'll bring to the role:
- At least 4+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, IBM, Pure Storage).
- Experience in incident management and project implementation.
- Expertise in Storage Technologies (SAN (Fibre Channel, iSCSI), NAS (NFS,CIFS/SMB), Object Storage (S3)).
- Strong Linux Administration skills, including file systems, permissions, Volume Managers (VxVM) , HA (VCS) and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Observability stack
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
- Experience in one or more Storage Products such as Netapp FAS, IBM GPFS, EMC ECS
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
