Researches investment topics and themes within traditional fixed income asset classes. Follows market and economic trends and proactively communicates investment teams' views on timely investment topics as appropriate. Writes key editorial content, including blog posts, insights, white papers, social media posts, infographics video scripts, investment outlooks and asset-class and market updates. Customizes editorial content to meet the distinct needs of a range of financial intermediaries. Leads the editorial process, including idea generation, in-depth interviewing of knowledge experts and gathering and interpreting independent research. Oversees content until completion, including coordination of necessary compliance reviews. Edits content for delivery across a variety of mediums, including print, web and multimedia. Assumes additional editorial duties as requested or assigned. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Finance, Economics or equivalent required. Minimum of ten years financial writing experience in investment management required. Excellent writing and editing skills. In-depth knowledge of fixed income and alternative investments. Ability to research complex topics and interview investment professionals. Ability to review current financial market conditions and/or portfolio data and extract ideas. Ability to communicate complex financial topics in a clear and concise manner. Ability to think creatively, conceptually, and strategically. Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting inflexible deadlines. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Expected base pay rates for the role will be $150,000 - $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
