Senior Data Platform Architect (Institutional Securities)
We are seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Client Strat Data Architect.
In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.
Join a high-impact team shaping how data drives decisions across the Institutional Securities division. As a Senior Client Strat Data Architect, you will play a key role in building a scalable data platform that delivers critical business insights and KPIs across the firm.
This is a highly visible position where you will partner with stakeholders across technology and business functions to design and deliver advanced data solutions that support strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level.

What you'll do in the role:
Building data platforms & insights
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines across multiple data sources
- Enable advanced analytics and deliver actionable insights to drive business performance
- Develop and maintain reporting tools tailored for senior stakeholders (e.g., COOs, Business Management)
Driving delivery & execution
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, and dependencies
- Ensure successful delivery of client-centric data products and reporting solutions
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
Leveraging AI & innovation
- Integrate LLMs and Generative AI capabilities into data workflows
- Enhance automation, data processing, and analytical capabilities through modern technologies
Team leadership & collaboration
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering technical growth and best practices
- Collaborate across global teams, influencing stakeholders across technology and business
Data governance & resilience
- Implement strong data governance, security, and recovery frameworks
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and reliability across platforms
What you'll bring to the role:
- Strong foundation in computer science or related field (data structures, algorithms, OOP), with hands-on programming experience in languages such as Python or C++ - language is flexible; we value strong coding fundamentals and a willingness to actively code in day-to-day work
- Proven experience in data engineering and distributed computing (5+ years preferred)
- Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake is useful ; experience with other technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or AWS is advantageous
- Experience delivering complex, large-scale data solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive end-to-end delivery
- Experience mentoring developers or leading small-to-medium sized teams
