Profile Description
We're seeking someone to join our WM Technology team as a QA Engineer, in MS at Work Tech to in MSAW Platform Solutions Tech to help drive program automation and strategy.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.
This is Director position that devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

What you'll do in the role:
- Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber and TestNG/Junit.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, reusable automation frameworks from scratch; enhance and modernize existing frameworks.
- Implement and execute automated regression suites across multiple browsers and environments.
- Develop and maintain API automation using Rest Assured.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure testing activities align with the sprint goals.
- Drive end-to-end QA for business-critical features including test strategy, test plans, and test cases in collaboration with Product/Engineering.
- Perform functional, exploratory, UAT, and automated testing as part of SDLC and release processes.
- Leadership: mentor junior QA/SDET members, lead test design/reviews, and promote testing best practices and quality metrics.
- Contribute to high-velocity delivery with safety by enabling iterative UI/product changes with strong quality gates.
What you'll bring to the role:
• At least 6+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role with Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in leading development initiatives / projects
• Strong Unix / Linux knowledge with Python and Shell scripting
• RDBMS (Sybase and/or DB2) with ability to write simple SQL queries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills with strong knowledge of Data Structures/Algorithms
• Knowledge of Ansible, Jenkins and CI/CD or similar tools and methods
• Knowledge of DevOps
• Foundations in server-side Java running on Linux
• Knowledge of the Equity Derivatives business
• An interest to learn the business supported by the applications.
