QA Automation SDET_ Associate_Software Engineering
We're seeking someone to join our FRPPE Tech team as a QA Automation Engineer, in Operations Technology to work on existing and new initiatives within global QA team. The team incorporates agile methodologies including Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in its development processes.

This is Associate position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you'll do in the role:
- The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged QA role. The role will involve interacting with clients in the Business, developers, external vendors and other QA teams.
- Candidate will be working on existing and new initiatives within global QA team. The team incorporates agile methodologies including Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in its development processes.
- The candidate must be hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and should be able to work with geographically dispersed Dev & QA team in a very dynamic, rapidly evolving and high pressure, high visibility project setting.
- The candidate is expected to contribute in a hands-on fashion on the project as well as take ownership of various QA deliverables. The following will be the candidates key focus areas:
- Passionate around automating and writing end-to-end testing including frontend/backend applications, with strong command on OOPs concept.
- Create Test harness and infrastructure
- Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in-house technologies and tools.
- Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis.
- Own the quality and timeliness of delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA agenda & standards by engaging with them throughout the SDLC
- Communicate key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, timely fashion
- Work closely with technical leaders to develop the best technical design and approach for testing our functionality at scale.
- Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined. You are capable of understanding the interaction between the components in a distributed system in order to ensure they are functioning properly.

What you'll bring to the role:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working on QA automation using Java
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Experience in developing test automation for Web applications preferably using Selenium, BDD Cucumber and Java
- Experience in developing test automation within Agile projects
- Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications preferably using rest assured.
- Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills.
- Strong working knowledge of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing.
- Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression
- Ability to learn new things, architectural level details, innovative testing approach.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
- Setting up/Use of Continuous Integration tools
- Knowledge on Protractor, Typescript, Python
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
