We're seeking someone to join our team as an Vice President in Credit Risk team.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Assessment of credit strengths and weaknesses of HNW/UHNW (ultra-high net worth) clients and private companies based out of United States/International clients.
  • Prepare and review high quality credit memo to support annual credit reviews/underwriting including limit recommendations, risks and mitigants and send to authorized Credit officers in US.
  • Demonstrate acceptable knowledge and ability to analyze different asset classes such as Equity and Fixed Income in addition to industry / country / sovereign research and the risks
  • Interpretation and risk identification of financial statements for companies/borrowers/guarantors for to identify the financial strength of the clients.
  • Monitor and escalate portfolio quality on an ongoing basis such as deteriorating collateral, adverse borrower information, negative trends, material individual/aggregate relationship, deteriorating financial strength of the borrowers and other risks.
  • Partner with colleagues across the globe to achieve your goals and to gain insight into how a global organization works
  • Review of junior team member's work, provide required trainings to the team and contribute on global projects/stretch assignments.
  • Manage a team of 4-5 Non-Officers in terms of personal development, oversee production to ensure deliverables are on time and are of high quality, and provide timely feedback
  • Manage escalations, and show a strong inclination towards problem solving and innovation
  • Contribute to production and recognize proper delegation, setting of department goals, work on synergies across different teams, projects to increase production and create efficient workflows and processes


What you'll bring to the role:
  • Detail oriented, with exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong credit expertise in corporates, Knowledge of various asset classes, and personal/business financial statement and credit reports
  • Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple deliverables
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possess strong problem identification and solution techniques
  • Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
  • 12+ years work experience in financial services industry
  • CA or MBA with knowledge of financials products. CFA or FRM cleared candidate is an added advantage
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package, especially advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
