In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals

Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.

The Workplace Platforms team defines and drives the digital, online and mobile customer experience for corporate clients and their employees. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the strategy to deliver a best in class experience for workplace participants. More specifically, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering on the division's top initiative, Unified Participant Experience, whereby all stock plan participants will be given the same online customer experience for Shareworks and Equity Edge Online corporate clients.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders, including technology, UX, operations, sales support, risk, legal and compliance, to communicate changes, coordinate deliverables, track and report on progress.
  • Write requirements/epics/stories and work closely with technical delivery managers and development team to ensure that user stories are delivered on time and within scope
  • Work with cross functional teams to design and develop new features and enhancements
  • Identify and prioritize features based on customer needs, business goals, and market trends
  • Contribute to and maintain key strategic presentation materials used to inform executive decision-making
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of risk controls based on control partner (e.g., legal & compliance) input
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions about product improvements and new features


Skills Required:
  • 9.5 Years of transferrable experience across work and higher education
  • 5+ years as a product owner/manager/analyst
  • 5+ years of experience with technology development process and lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Strong understanding of the corporate stock plan business and operating paradigms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple stakeholder groups (including end users) to enable decision making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take a problem statement and solution it with a set of clear and concise business rules

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
