Non-Financial Risk Manager, Outsourcing Compliance - Vice President
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President, Outsourcing Compliance in the Legal & Compliance division to provide subject matter expertise and oversight on outsourcing and operational resiliency regulations across Asia, partnering closely with business and infrastructure teams to ensure robust governance and regulatory alignment.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Vice President level position within the 2nd line Third Party and Business Resilience Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team, which is responsible for advising on outsourcing and resiliency regulations and overseeing related governance frameworks across Asia.

What you'll do in the role:
- Advise internal stakeholders on Asia Pacific outsourcing and operational resilience related regulations and rules
- Review and approve new outsourcing proposals related to Asia Pacific entities
- Track, interpret and help to implement new rules and regulations from regional regulators in relation to outsourcing and operational resilience, participating in industry discussions as appropriate
- Work with global colleagues to enhance and implement controls and governance frameworks around outsourcing and operational resilience
- Assist to develop and deliver policies and training around outsourcing and operational resilience
- Represent 2nd line Non-Financial Risk on relevant local and regional governance committees
- Oversee all reporting and interactions with regional regulators on relevant topics
- Advise on impact to Asia Pacific entities and businesses from global regulatory/firm outsourcing and operational resilience initiatives
What you'll bring to the role:
- Experience in Compliance, with strong knowledge of Asian markets and regulatory regimes in relation to outsourcing and operational resiliency, in particular Hong Kong and Singapore
- Experience and understanding of cloud computing and operational resilience regulatory guidance will be beneficial
- Good understanding of the business model and operational setup of a global financial institution
- Experience dealing with Asian regulators on topics related to outsourcing and operational resilience
- Demonstrated ability to work with global colleagues to develop and implement global standards and frameworks for governance and management of outsourcing
- Strong analytics, communication and project management skills and a team player
- Ability to work independently and drive projects and initiatives
- Ability and confidence to make balanced judgements and decisions
- Typically, 8+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
