Reporting to the Deputy Portfolio Manager of MSREI's flagship European Core Fund, the person is involved in all aspects of the Fund, with a particular focus on fund analytics, portfolio management and investor coverage.

Position Description

The individual will play an integral role across all aspects of MSREI's flagship European Core Fund. This role would uniquely position the candidate to collaborate with global teams and senior management of MSREI. In addition to the undertakings listed below, strong analytical / problem solving skills and attention to detail are critical to success in this position, alongside the ability to multitask and efficiently utilize resources.

  • Creating Fund performance analysis and benchmarking
  • Portfolio analytics including modelling of business plans and liquidity, capital requirements and fund KPIs
  • Closely collaborating with the investment teams on asset management, business planning and budgeting
  • Assisting with the coordination of quarterly valuation/ valuation committee process
  • Preparing presentations for investors and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate within the MSREI platform on capital raising efforts, technology, ESG and research
  • Assist with investor queries / requests including DDQs, RFPs and other capital raising related data requests


Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to a great team with a strong work ethic and a drive to win
  • Dedicated team player that cares about the team's culture
  • BA/BS required
  • 3-6 years of experience in a real estate organization, real estate private equity fund or real estate division of an investment bank
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel, combined with a willingness to explore new technologies
