Liquidity Risk Data Governance, Analyst, Firm Risk Management

Background of Position:
The role will reside within the Firm Risk Management's (FRM) Liquidity Risk Department which is a team dedicated to providing independent oversight of the Firm's business activities, serving as a second line of defense to ensure that the size and composition of the Firm's liquidity resources are adequate in amount and quality. Liquidity Risk reports to the Chief Risk Officer and is responsible for independent oversight and monitoring of the Firm's overall trading, funding, financing and banking businesses, liquidity risk limit setting, risk assessment and analysis, and management reporting, including adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Implement the Firm's Global Data Policy and regulatory principles of effective risk data aggregation (RDA) and risk reporting across the Liquidity Risk Department (LRD) and execute on complex strategic data compliance projects.
- Collaborate within FRM and across the Firm on data deliverable initiatives, including maintaining the LRD data deliverable inventory.
- Manage the data deliverable categorization for LRD data deliverables, including identifying and recording Critical Risk Reports, and documenting Critical Risk Measures and Attributes.
- Support the delivery of LRD's data cataloguing, data lineage documentation and the adoption of Data Quality Principles as required per the Firm's Global Data Quality Policy and Risk Data Aggregation principles.
- Collaborate with risk coverage teams to leverage their subject matter expertise in confirming and agreeing on LRD data deliverables, including prioritization.
- Assess LRD compliance with the Firm's Global Data Quality Policy and Risk Data Aggregation principles via the FRM-wide self-assessment program.
- Assist with data integrity testing performed by Independent Process Validation teams or Internal Audit focused on reviewing data lineage, reporting logic, and transaction testing validating the completeness and accuracy of LRD's Critical Risk Reports.

- Support the broader LRD Data team in identifying data authorities, implementing data quality controls, and monitoring data quality issues and risks.
- Improve LRD risk data processes and drive innovation, such as using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance LRD's data strategy and governance.
- Support preparation of reports and presentations for senior management and oversight committees.
- Stay informed about major Firm data projects impacting LRD and current regulatory requirements. - Excellent academic background, preferably with a degree in business, finance or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of risk management concepts and financial products.
- Experience in Data Management and/or Data Governance preferred.
- Strong organizational and/or project management skills.
- Strong collaboration, relationship building and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects, meet tight deadlines and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to details.
- Good working knowledge in Power Point and Excel, including VBA/SQL querying.
