We're seeking someone to join our Financial Risk Program & Production Engineering Technology team as a Lead Java Developer in Finance Technology to work on applications built on Java (Scala) leveraging Spring boot/Spark containers with Angular front ends. very intensive business & data analysis out of our Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) built in Teradata. work closely with the local/global project manager, colleagues, and internal clients within Finance, the candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-release and ongoing Lv3 support as escalation point.

This is a Lead Software Engineering (Java Developer position) at Vice President level, which is part of the Software Engineering & responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs

What you'll do in the role:
P & L control Group within Funding & Finance Tech (FFT) is looking for experienced Java developer who will work on strategic implementation for multiple initiatives. The position is for Mumbai Location and the person needs to work closely with our other development teams.
- Perform business/data analysis to investigate into various business problems and propose the solution working closely with clients and team
- Design, implement, test and maintain web and data processing applications - technology choice could vary depending on the types of components and team's strategy
- Performance and scalability optimization to support large scale deployments
- Define new features in conjunction with product management, and provide specifications
- Ensure quality and completeness of the final product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 11+ years of career experience & technical expertise Core Java/Scala Programming, Web Services (REST API), Data Engineering and high-performance data processing applications
- Experience with Spark Framework and application-level caching software (preferred)
- Extensive DevOps Tooling including Unit/Functional Testing in a developer capacity
- Job scheduler tools: Any scheduling tool experience (preferably Autosys)
- Exposure to BFSI and finance industry preferred
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
