Full Stack Developer - Associate- Software Engineering

We're seeking someone to join our FRPPE Tech team as a Full Stack Developer , in Finance Technology to A skilled full stack developer with a passion for technology and innovations, comfortable with Agile way of working. You will be part of a talented squad, engaging with Technology Leads, Product Owners, and Squad members to help build and deliver high quality solutions while observing Agile principles in the day to day work.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:

• Working closely with other developers, business and systems analysts
• Researching, designing, implementing, testing and evaluating new and existing software
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Developing monitoring tools
• Documenting application processes for future maintenance and upgrades
• Investigating new technologies
• Participating in development and maintenance of automated deployment infrastructure
• Continually expanding technical knowledge and skills by attending internal / external trainings

What you'll bring to the role:

• Good understanding and practical experience 2+ years of middleware development using Java & Databases (previous experience in Scripting/Python will be an advantage)
• Understanding & experience with UI technologies such as Angular and analytics tools such as Power BI will be an advantage
• Experience with generic testing frameworks
• Knowledge of good programming practices and appreciation for clean, maintainable, documented and reusable code
• Familiarity with CI/CD and a desire for quick to market delivery through a stable, well test covered and risk aware
• Curiosity & amenable to learn new languages and technologies.
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to use version control software such as GIT
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income statement and Cash Flows) will be an advantage
