We're seeking someone to join our Finance Shared Services team as a Business Analyst in External Reporting to support the adoption of strategic data and the project to move reporting to the new Cloud based platform, focusing on requirements gathering, process modernisation, and supporting system implementations in a controlled environment.

This is an Associate level position within our Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting Job Family which is responsible for the accuracy and control of the Firm's books and records to produce the consolidated firm, segment and legal entities financial statements, including development, management and oversight of financial accounting & reporting systems as well as database management, including capital and liquidity reporting and external reporting functions

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within Corporate Controllers, Reporting and Accounting.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
- Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
- Gain an understanding of the external reporting production process to document requirements and identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement for Technology development.
- Build understanding of the technology platform to participate in testing to generate external reporting.
- Trouble shoot issues during production testing, requiring effective communication and escalation to local line management.
-Draft requirements and capturing the results of testing to inform members of the production team and Technology.
- Generate written procedure documents for new system builds, ensuring key controls are in place.
-Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide updates on progress.

What you'll bring to the role:
--Working knowledge of Finance functional area, industry and competitive environment
-Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences
-Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Skills Desired:

- Experience of working with large datasets.
- Experience of interpreting, summarising and presenting results in a meaningful format.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to engage with colleagues/clients of all levels.
- Highly numerate with an attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Strong Microsoft application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-Ability to challenge issues and processes.
